Conduct of financial operations in Сash & Pay terminals

Dear customer!

For successful conduct of necessary operation, please take into account the following information:

• banknotes need to be inserted into cash acceptor one by one until necessary amount is accumulated (the amount is refreshed on the display after each note is inserted);
• change is not available neither accepted notes are given back, that’s why be careful when entering any data;
• only tenge are accepted;
• conduct of operations in payment terminal is possible in two ways: by crediting cash and making noncash payment from BTA Bank payment card (BTA Card/SmartAlemCard, VISA, MasterCard).

The following sections describe the order of actions when using Cash & Pay terminals.

Making payments

• In order to pay for the services in Cash&Pay terminal, press the button on the terminal screen corresponding to the type of payment. Then choose the name of the company for which services you are about to make a payment;
• Enter the number of requested parameter: personal account, phone number, agreement number, TIN and other, using the keyboard on the terminal screen. When entering parameters for payment, follow the instructions on the terminal screen;
• When paying for mobile communication services (Beeline, K-cell, Dalacom, Pathword, NEO), you need to correctly enter the number of mobile phone consisting of 10 digits without "8";
• When paying for Kazakhtelecom JSC services, you need to enter the phone number with a city code;
• After entering, please carefully check entered data and press “CONFIRM” button on the terminal display;
• Terminal will check the correctness of the entered parameter and will offer you to enter cash. When ready to accept cash, cash acceptor will flash with green light (at the right side below the display);
• Terminal charges fee for acceptance of payment. The amount of fee is displayed on the terminal screen when entering cash. Fee is charged from the amount of payment, therefore for the avoidance of doubt please calculate the amount of entered cash in accordance with the simple formula: AMOUNT OF PAYMENT + AMOUNT OF FEE;
• Upon completion of the operation payment data will be sent for processing, and the terminal will print out the check. It is recommended to keep the received check.

Please note that crediting of funds is made on the following day after making payment. If payment was made on weekends/holidays, crediting will be made on the first business day following the weekend/holiday.

Payment of taxes:

• In Cash&Pay terminals you have an opportunity to pay for all types of taxes according to the budget classification code, as well as road police fines;
• In order to make a payment for taxes in Cash&Pay terminals, press “PAYMENTS” on the terminal screen, then “PAYMENT OF TAXES” and press the button corresponding to the type of tax payment, then press “CONFIRM”;
• Further you will be offered to choose the payment purpose code - PPC (“Payment of tax”, “Payment of fine”, or “Past years arrears”). With the help of sensor “UP” and “DOWN” buttons select necessary PPC and press “CONFIRM”;
• The terminal will offer you to choose a tax authority in which favor the payment is to be made. If the screen does not display your necessary tax body, choose "ENTER the code of tax authority" and enter the first 4 digits of TIN, with the help of which the system will find a CTA;
• Then enter TIN number and press "CONFIRM" button. The terminal will display the information about the taxpayer, CTA and the type of tax to be paid and will offer you to enter cash one by one. When ready to accept cash, cash acceptor will flash with green light (at the right side below the display);
• Terminal charges one hundred (100) tenge fee for acceptance of each payment. Fee is charged from the amount of payment, therefore for the avoidance of doubt please calculate the amount of entered cash in accordance with the simple formula: AMOUNT OF PAYMENT + AMOUNT OF FEE;
• Upon completion of the operation payment data will be sent for processing, and the terminal will print out the check. It is recommended to keep the received check;
• In case of entering the amount exceeding the necessary amount of payment, overpaid amount will be taken into account by the Tax Committee and transferred to the following month or year, and, accordingly, you will be able to make the next payment less overpaid amount.

From 19.09.2009, Cash&Pay payment terminals provide unique opportunity to independently CALCULATE THE AMOUNT OF TRANSPORT TAX. Now if you do not know which amount shall be paid as a transport tax, you don’t have to apply to the Tax Service; all you need to do is fill out necessary data on terminal screen and get information on the necessary amount for payment.

How to make payment?

• On the sensor screen, choose “Payments” – “Payment of taxes” – “Transport tax”;
• Choose tax agency from the list. Indicate TIN of the transport owner;
• From the menu, choose item “Calculate transport tax” (right top corner);
• Choose the type of the card from the offered list (motor car, freight car etc.); Enter the value of engine volume by digits (to be entered in cubic cm, i.e. if volume of a motor car is 1.6 l, then you need to indicate 1600 cubic cm);
• Press “Calculation of tax amount” – the terminal will calculate the amount of tax payment;
• Indicate the amount and insert banknotes – the terminal screen will display the amount of the inserted banknotes and fee amount. As soon as the amount of inserted cash will equal or exceed the amount of calculated cash + fee amount, the terminal screen will display a message on completion of payment operation.

Besides, if the amount of inserted notes will exceed the amount of calculated tax + fee amount, you will see the message offering to credit overpaid amount to the mobile phone number of services of Kazakhtelecom JSC. Further you will need to follow the instructions displayed on Cash&Pay screen.

Bank’s fee for making payment:
By cash – 100 tenge.
By card – 80 tenge

Repayment of loans of BTA Bank JSC, BTA Ipoteka JSC:

• In order to make a repayment of loan or payment of agency agreement issued by BTA Ipoteka JSC or BTA Bank JSC, press “REPAYMENT OF LOAN” button on the terminal screen, then choose the type of loan;
• Enter the number of bank loan agreement or number of the agreement, by using the terminal display keyboard, then press "CONFIRM";
• Terminal will check the loan agreement number and ask you to enter the payer’s TIN, whose name the agreement is registered to; then it will ask you to enter cash. When ready to accept cash, cash acceptor will flash with green light (at the right side below the display);
• Terminal charges one hundred (100) tenge fee for acceptance of each payment in favor of BTA Ipoteka JSC or BTA Bank JSC. Fee is charged from the amount of payment, therefore for the avoidance of doubt please calculate the amount of entered cash in accordance with the simple formula: AMOUNT OF PAYMENT + AMOUNT OF FEE;
• In case of entering the amount exceeding the necessary amount of monthly payment, overpaid amount will be taken into account by the company and transferred to the following month, and, accordingly, you will be able to make the next payment less overpaid amount;
• Upon completion of the operation payment data will be sent for processing, and the terminal will print out the check. It is recommended to keep the received check.

Replenishment of deposit/current accounts with BTA Bank JSC:

• In order to credit cash to deposit/current account, press “REPLENISHMENT OF THE ACCOUNT” button on the terminal screen, then “REPLENISHMENT OF THE DEPOSIT OR CURRENT ACCOUNTS”. To replenish on-demand accounts, press “REPLENISHMENT OF DEPOSIT ACCOUNT” button;
• After that you will be offered to “CHOOSE THE BRANCH WHERE DEPOSIT ACCOUNT WAS OPENED”. By pressing "UP" or "DOWN" sensor buttons, choose necessary name of the branch where the account is registered and press "CONFIRM";
• Enter your account number by using the terminal display keyboard, then press "CONFIRM";
• Terminal will check the personal account number and ask you to enter your deposit account number and currency of the account for confirmation;
• When ready to accept cash, cash acceptor will flash with green light (at the right side below the display). Replenishment of deposit and current accounts in Cash&Pay terminals is made without charges;
• The payer is charged a fee for replenishment of current accounts in “Cash&Pay” terminals. Fee amount:
  • For the amount up to 100,000 tenge (inclusive) – 100 tenge;
  • Over 100,000 tenge – 0.1% (withheld from the credited amount);
• Upon completion of the operation payment data will be sent for processing, and the terminal will print out the check. It is recommended to keep the received check;
• When replenishing multicurrency accounts, the amount accepted in tenge will be converted into currency account at the current rate of the bank. Crediting of funds to the account is made online.

Replenishment of payment cards of BTA Bank JSC:

• With the help of Cash&Pay payment terminal you have the opportunity to replenish local (SmartAlem Card) and international cards of BTA Bank - VISA and MasterCard, and to transfer funds from card to card issued by BTA Bank JSC;
• In order to replenish your card in Cash&Pay terminals, choose “REPLENISHMENT OF THE ACCOUNT” item by pressing the respective button on the terminal screen, then press “REPLENISHMENT OF THE CARD”;
• After that terminal will offer you to enter the full number of the receiver’s card. With the help of sensor buttons or keyboard buttons (located below the terminal screen) enter the full number of the card and press "CONFIRM" button (if necessary, you may correct the number by pressing “CORRECT” button). To avoid errors, please check the entered number once again before pressing “CONFIRM” button;
• After that enter bank notes one by one until you replenish necessary amount (the amount is displayed on the screen) and press "CONFIRM";
• Cash&Pay terminals charge fees for replenishment of payment cards. The amount of fee is as follows:
  • For the amount up to 100 000 tenge (inclusive) – 100 tenge;
  • Over 100 000 tenge – 0.1% (withheld from the credited amount);
• Upon completion of the operation payment data will be sent for processing, and the terminal will print out the check. It is recommended to keep the received check;
• When replenishing currency cards the accepted amount in tenge will be converted into the currency of card account at the current rate of the bank;
• Crediting of funds to the account will be made within four hours, depending on the banking day (from 9-00 to 18-00).

File an application for Express loan to BTA Bank JSC:

• With the help of Cash&Pay payment terminal you may file an application for express loan;
• For that you need to press the respective button on the terminal screen, “INFORMATION”, then choose field “EXPRESS LOANS OF BTA”;
• Further the terminal will offer you to choose currency (KZT, EUR), in which you would like to execute a loan;
• Choose currency of the loan and enter information in the field “INDICATE YOUR SALARY AMOUNT”. In this field you should type the amount of your salary in the currency, which you indicated for a loan;
• After having typed your salary, if the amount of salary indicated by you is sufficient for execution of application, the information screen will display the amount which may be available for you;
• If the amount displayed on the screen satisfies you, press “FILE APPLICATION FOR LOAN” button with the help of sensor buttons. You will see a “PRINT CHECK” enquiry;
• After you have chosen to “FILE APPLICATION FOR LOAN”, you will be offered to enter your phone number, to which a bank expert would call in order to further proceed to provide you with Express Loan;
• Then press “CONFIRM”, and get a printed check, confirming your consent to get Express Loan, with the phone numbers for consultations;
• After you filed an application via Cash&Pay terminal, you will receive a call from the bank expert within 2 business day from the moment of filing the application.
