First block of High Vill Astana commissioned
On October 20 an A Block, the first in a set of six blocks being under construction within housing estate High Vill Astana was unveiled. High Vill Astana is a major construction project in the capital city of Kazakhstan. Against the background of real estate market crisis, the successful commissioning of ready accommodation by a South Korean company has once again confirmed that High Vill Kazakhstan is a reliable partner discharging its quality obligations to clients and meeting deadlines.

Bank TuranAlem acquired a stake in Ukraine's Major insurer
On October 2, 2007 Kiev, Ukraine, hosted a tender for the sale of a state-owned shareholding in Ukraine’s national joint insurance company Oranta (NJSIC). Major CIS financial groups bid for the stake. JSC "Bank TuranAlem", Kazakhstan, JSC Bank CenterCredit, Kazakhstan, and Russia’s OJSC Alfa Bank were among bidders.
