24.05.2023 12:13:50BTA Bank informs that on May 23, 2023, the French Court of Cassation ruled that the terms of criminal prosecution had not expired in the criminal case against Ablyazov under the BTA Bank’s appeal.
Thus, the Highest Court of France confirmed that the criminal investigation of the fraud and money laundering committed by Ablyazov against BTA Bank should be continued by the French investigating judge.
BTA Bank welcomes the decision of the French court and looks forward to a speedy and successful consideration of the case by the courts on the merits.
